14k white gold (stamped 14k; partial double stamp 4k; no trademark) and diamond ring that weighs 17.27 grams and is a Size 10.125. Embellishing the base of the ring is a transitional cut diamond of F color, Sl2 clarity, that weighs approximately 0.31 carat (4.73 x 4.69 x 2.33 mm) with strong blue fluorescence. Surrounding the base diamond are seventeen straight baguette diamonds of D to E color, VS to SI clarity, that range in size from approximately 0.02 to 0.06 carat each (1.75 x 1.25 to 3.50 x 1.50 mm) for an estimated total weight of 0.68 carats. Building up the center of the ring are four round brilliant cut diamonds of good make, E to G color, VS2 to Sl2 clarity, that range in size from approximately 0.06 to 0.12 carat
each (2.50 to 3.25 mm) for a total estimated weight of of 0.36 carats. Flanking the center row are twenty-five long baquette diamonds of D to E color, VS to SI, that weigh approximately 0.09 carat each (5.40 x 1.50 mm) for an estimated total weight of 2.25 carats. The art deco, cast, hand fabricated, assembled, cathedral-style ring has been modified from a dress clip. The cast clip has been laser weld together and the shank is hand fabricated in an overlapping design. The four main diamonds are bezel set, the baguette diamonds are all channel set, the single cut diamonds are shared bead set and the two smaller round brilliant cut diamond are secured with four beads each. The ring is finished in a high polish. The overall look of the ring is reminiscent of pipe organ architecture. Condition is good (at least five diamonds are chipped, appraised as whole); craftsmanship is good. Dress clip is Circa 1930's, ring added in recent history.
